My New Role at Civic Hall

After 6 wonderful years with NY Tech Meetup/NY Tech Alliance, I’m so excited to share that on June 15, I’m moving on to become the Managing Director of Civic Hall, where I’ll be leading the organization alongside co-founders Andrew Rasiej and Micah Sifry.

Civic Hall is a one-of-a-kind collaborative innovation center that advances the use of technology for the public good. It embodies so much of what I care about and gives me a wonderful opportunity to apply all that I’ve learned and experienced at Girl Scouts and NYTM to a new organization that is on the verge of tremendous growth.

Civic Hall, in partnership with developer RAL Companies, recently won a public bid process offered by the NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC) to develop a 250,000 square foot center for technology at Union Square, including a new 80,000 square foot facility to be called Civic Hall at Union Square: https://civichall.org/about-civic-…/civic-hall-union-square/

I can’t wait to get to work on supporting and growing Civic Hall in its current space, leading up to the launch of the new space in 2020.
